Kendrick Lamar -"The Blacker The Berry"-mp3

Kendrick Lamar has made the jump, after releasing the excellent major label debut with Good Kid M.A.D.D. City, being celebrated by peers and critics alike. Than award time came and after losing to a far lesser talent at the 2014 Grammy's, he vowed revenge. In 2015 he got it with his pop song the very confusing, awkward "i", it's message was strong, but way to happy. At the 2015 Grammys he wins for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for "i"., the very next day releases a banger laced with jewels and fury "The Blacker The Berry". The hip-hop world stops, instantly salutes Kendrick Lamar. Thank you Kendrick. "I'm African-American, I'm African/I'm black as the heart of a fuckin' Aryan/ I'm black as the name of Tyrone and Darius." Two other looks from black artists reflecting the current atmosphere are Minneapolis' Muja Messiah's celebratory take on sports figures with "NFL" where he spits "Art Monk deco, Drew Bledsoe, Mark Gastineau I got snaps on the petro" and on Metasota's evocative "Stickstee" as he warns "Got us feeling paralyzed with pair of lies...they terrified? We terrorized."
