Minneapolis experimental funk/soul/jazz collective ZULUZULUU with Greg Grease, Mykchal Fisher, Taylor Johnson, Elliot Surber, Telly Mo & DJ Just Nine take honor reinterpreting Syretta & Stevie Wonder's "Black Maybe" off Syretta's self-titled 1972 Motown album produced by Wonder. Shout out Afro-Punk on the premiere ZULUZULUU COVERS SYREETA AND STEVIE WONDER FOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH ON “BLACK MAYBE” who notes "the band updates Stevie's paleo-future spaced-out arrangement with modern-retro synth pads and glitch effects, culminating in a glorious explosion. It's haunting, it's beautiful, it's powerful." As Fisher of ZULUZULUU explains: “Counsel with the wizards is that we did the joint to pay respect and homage to the ancestors as well as Stevie and Syreeta. But at the same time I feel that we are trying to manifest the energy of that era, that revolutionary period of blackness. The lyrics to the songs are potent today as much as they were at that time. we just want to reiterate the message in a cosmic jazz electro perspective.”

PJ Harvey debuts "The Wheel" shot by director Seamus Murp who discusses the video concept "Polly and I wanted to initiate a project together working in places we thought interesting and relevant. We met through her seeing my photographs from Afghanistan, and I later showed her more work, including some from the war in Kosovo in the late 1990s. I had experience and contacts in both places and Polly had long held a fascination for Afghanistan and was caught up following the events in Kosovo when it was topical. Both had troubled histories and because of the news were familiar in name to everybody; the detail and nuance was maybe lacking or forgotten. I had returned to Kosovo in 2004 when the conflict erupted again, finding unresolved disputes and a deep frustration on every side with the pace and handling of events."
