Minneapolis Greg Grease follows up his 2011 debut Cornbread, Pearl & G, and 2012's Black King Cole EP with Born To Lurk Forced To Work on Sound Verite Records/ River Life, available on March 24th. The first track, "Rip Van Winkle", produced by starRo explores the need for rest, while as Nas said "Sleep is the cousin of death". Passionweiss premiered the track and said "Born to Lurk is Grease’s definitive effort, an expansive treatise on what it means to be a black man who raps in an ostensibly progressive metropolis."
