Former Minneapolis resident, vocal architect Jose James makes his debut on Blue Note with the meticulous R & B ballad "It's All Over Your Body", off his stunning, attention to detail new longplayer No Beginning, No End. James music career has taken some interesting turns. With the early support of UK tastemaker Giles Peterson who worked with the young vocalist releasing three records through his imprint Brownswood, The Dreamer, Desire & Love and BlackMagic. Then moving to Impulse to record the Jose James & Jef Neve record For All We Know. Now on Blue Note the artist is finding his full voice and taking up that lane where D'Angelo and Maxwell left to Erykah Badu.
