Brooklynite Fatima Al Qadiri recalls her time growing up in Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm, who's new track "Ghost Raid" is named after a US military operation after bombing raids by “The Ghost,” the F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter. Al Qadiri's new ep Desert Strike out Oct.23rd. Her glitched-out, stutter step instrumentals brings to mind the atmospherics of Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland's Black Is Beautiful.
